CHAN 2024: Super Eagles B drawn alongside Senegal, Congo and Sudan

Nigeria’s Super Eagles B team have been drawn in Group D alongside defending champions Senegal, Congo, and Sudan ahead of the African Nations Championship, which has been rescheduled to August 2025.

The final draw for the TotalEnergies CHAN 2024 took place on January 15 at the prestigious Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.

The draw sets the stage for an exciting competition, and the Super Eagles B will need to be at their best to navigate the challenging group with the aim of qualifying for the knockouts and eventually winning the tournament.

The group stage draw placed host nation Kenya in Group A alongside Morocco, Angola, DR Congo, and Zambia. Meanwhile, joint hosts Tanzania are in Group B with Madagascar, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, and the Central African Republic.

Group C includes host Uganda alongside Niger and Guinea, with the final two spots to be determined by upcoming qualifiers.

The African Nations Championship which is set to be hosted jointly by Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania was initially scheduled for February, however, the tournament was recently postponed to August due to infrastructure delays.
