CAF has revealed a brand-new logo and trophy for the 2024 CHAN tournament, showcasing the competition’s strong ties to African football and culture.
The newly designed TotalEnergies CHAN 2024 trophy boasts a sleek, modern look that combines gold and silver elements, symbolizing the tournament’s prestige and growing reputation.
A notable feature of the trophy is the 54 distinct lines that encircle it, representing the unity of Africa’s 54 nations, with a map of the continent at its core.
This unique design element celebrates the championship’s theme of diversity and unity, highlighting the tournament’s role in bringing together African nations through football. The trophy serves as a powerful symbol of African football’s ongoing progress and the shared passion for the sport that unites the continent.
The TotalEnergies CHAN 2024 will mark the eighth edition of the finals and will be the first time the tournament is held in East Africa since Rwanda hosted the event in 2016. The stage is set for an exciting competition, with 19 teams competing for the championship title.
The Final Draw for the TotalEnergies CHAN 2024 will take place on January 15 at the prestigious Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi, Kenya. The draw will commence at 20:00 local time (17:00 GMT / 19:00 Cairo) and will be streamed live on CAF’s YouTube channel and CAF TV.
