The Super Eagles will play Cameroon in the round of 16 of the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
Cameroon left it late to defeat Gambia 3-2 in their last group game to finish second in the Group C to set up an encounter with their familiar foes – the Super Eagles.
The Indomitable Lions were able to leapfrog Guinea who had the same points but with inferior goals difference after losing 2-0 to defending champions Senegal.
The Nigeria, Cameroon game will take place 9pm on Saturday at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan.
