Barcelona’s search for a new striker next season could have a ripple effect that might involve Victor Osimhen, Bold Sports reports.

Reports from the Spanish outlet Fichajes via Bein Sports suggest that the Catalan giants are considering parting ways with Robert Lewandowski and have identified Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic as a replacement.

The 23-year-old Serbian striker, under contract with Juventus until 2026, has reportedly grown hesitant to renew his deal, opening the door to a potential move.

Vlahovic’s reluctance to commit his future to Juventus makes him an appealing option for Barcelona, who are looking to refresh their attacking line. If Juventus decide to part ways with him, it could trigger significant movement in the transfer market.

Meanwhile, Juventus are reportedly eyeing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen as a possible replacement for Vlahovic.

ESPN had earlier reported that the Italian side were considering making a move for Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli and could jump on him again if they lose Vlahovic to Barcelona. The Nigerian forward has been in stellar form, attracting attention from several European clubs.

This would not be the first time one transfer sets off a chain of moves, much like Wout Weghorst’s transfer from Beşiktaş to Manchester United last season, which paved the way for Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure to Al-Nassr and Vincent Aboubakar’s return to Beşiktaş.

Osimhen’s growing reputation across Europe means that whether it’s Juventus or Barcelona, he could be at the center of another major transfer saga next summer.

Recall that before his eventual move to Galatasaray on transfer deadline day, Osimhen was the major talk all through the transfer window with both Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea heavily linked to him. He was also reported to have been offered a contract by Saudi Arabia side Al-Ahli worth €25-30m per season.
