Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, has initiated official discussions to acquire Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface, according to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Despite recently signing a new contract with Bayer Leverkusen, which made him one of the team’s highest-paid players, Al Nassr remains keen on signing Boniface in the January transfer window.
The Saudi club is reportedly seeking a replacement for Talisca, who has agreed to join Fenerbahçe and is undergoing a medical examination which will see him play for the Turkish club until June 2026.
In addition to Boniface, Al Nassr is also interested in Aston Villa’s highly rated striker, John Duran. However, Aston Villa is reluctant to let Duran go, making Boniface a more viable option.
Having just turned 24 in December, it remains to be seen whether Victor Boniface is ready to abandon his European aspirations and take on a new challenge in Saudi Arabia, particularly at such a pivotal stage in his development.

It is also unlikely that Leverkusen will be willing to part with Boniface in January, although reports suggest that the club may consider selling him for a fee of €50 million.
With the transfer window still open, the potential move of Victor Boniface to Al Nassr is a deal worth keeping an eye on, especially given the Saudi club’s reputation for splashing the cash to land their top targets.
